Island team see off Cheshire
The Isle of Man under-18s will face holders Manchester League at home in early December in the second round of the FA County Youth Cup.
That's after an extra-time win away against Cheshire League yesterday.
Callum Sherry from Ramsey Youth Centre put the Manx side ahead in the tie before the home side scored twice.
Laxey player Will Berquist scored a late equaliser for the Island team to take the match into extra-time.
Goals from Jack Camarda (Peel) and captain Jacob Crook (St. George's) won the contest to the delight of manager Lewis Qualtrough.
Cheshire were highly fancied in the competition and now the Island side move on to tackle the holders at The Bowl in early December.
