New event to be held which hopes to keep boosting numbers
The Isle of Man FA continues to be encouraged by the growth happening in female participation in the sport on Island.
That's from the associations women and girls football development officer as the organisation looks at plans for another project to boost numbers further.
On 8 March, the FA is looking to run what's called '#LETGIRLSPLAY Biggest Ever Football Session' which will invite girls of all abilities to take part in football in a social environment.
Simon Elson says getting more involved in the game in the long-term is not about having to compete with other sports:

Football: Corinthians hammer Ayre United to reach Hospital Cup last four
Battles to resume in ARA Championship
IoM women victorious at Preston North End
NW200: Storm Stacey takes debut double on final day
Archery: Silver for Sleight at UK & Ireland championships
