Factory Triumph support for Jamie Coward at TT 2025

Rider also switching to BMW power for big bike classes this year

Isle of Man TT Races competitor Jamie Coward will receive factory support from Triumph at this year's event.

The Yorkshireman will receive the manufacturer's assistance on board the Street Triple 765 machine in the Supersport class as a result of a new partnership between Macadam Triumph Factory Racing and KTS Racing.

Two-time TT podium finisher Coward says he's 'made up' with the deal, adding it feels 'pretty cool' to be a factory-backed competitor.

The agreement will also extend to Coward campaigning the same machine in the Supersport section at this year's North West 200.

Elsewhere, there will be changes for him in the Senior, Superbike and Superstock classes at TT 2025 as Coward and the KTS Racing powered by Stanley Stewart outfit will switch from Honda Fireblade to BMW M1000 RR machinery.

On the new Triumph agreement, the rider adds: "The aim, as always, is to go a bit faster than last year, and with support from Triumph, we’ll be even closer to the front. I’m super excited to get going."

Meanwhile, on the switch in the 1000cc classes to BMW power, KTS Racing Team Owner Kevin Watret comments: "We believe there’s more to achieve in the 1000cc races, which is why we’ve switched to BMW.

"The results speak for themselves – BMW is consistently at the sharp end in terms of race wins and lap speeds.

"Having already lapped at 132.6 mph, we’re confident Jamie can improve further and get even closer to the front runners in the Superbike, Senior, and Superstock TT races."

During last year's TT, Coward managed fourth place finishes in the Supersport TT Race 2 and Supertwin TT Race 2; Sixth place in the Superstock TT Race 1 and seventh in the Superbike TT.

He was a retirement in both the Supersport TT Race 1 and Supertwin TT Race 1 and was a non-starter for the Senior TT.
