Coward and Oversby to the fore
Friday evening’s opening practice session at the Blackford Pre-TT Classic saw two familiar names at the top of the timing sheets.
Jamie Coward and Alan Oversby lead in three classes each.
Coward is at the head of affairs in the Junior and Senior Superbikes plus the 850cc.
Oversby is on provisional pole in the Singles, Senior and Junior Classic races.
The only other name to lead a class is Jeff Ward in the 250cc Lightweight.
The session ended with a red flag at the beginning of the sidecar class due to a large oil spill on the start/finish straight.
There is a further practice and the opening sidecar race this afternoon, with roads at Billown closing at 12.10pm They will reopen no later than 4.10pm
