Harrison named assistant manager for upcoming campaign
FC Isle of Man has announced who will form the coaching staff to assist manager, Paul Jones, for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Alex Harrison has now formalised his role as Assistant Manager having helped lead Manx side, St Mary's, to winning DPS Ltd. Division 2 last season and attain promotion to the Canada Life Men's Premier League for the next campaign.
Harrison will also continue to contribute towards St Mary's during the new season.
Elsewhere, Andrew Gosnell and Gareth Lloyd will take up the coaches roles whilst Juan Watney comes in as a Coach Developer and will assist with regular training as well as making sure sessions meet the needs of squad members.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have also confirmed David Cherry as their Goalkeeper Coach whilst Patrick Myers completes the dugout staff as an Apprentice Coach after volunteering in a range of roles at the club in the last two years and undertaking football studies at University College Isle of Man.
For Jones, this will be his first season taking on the role as manager on a permanent basis after holding the post on an interim basis for the majority of last season.
FC Isle of Man finished 13th in the NWCFL Premier Division last season with their new campaign currently due to begin on Saturday, 29 July with league fixtures still to be confirmed.
