Ravens suffered heaviest home defeat of campaign last time out
After their heaviest home defeat of the season last weekend, FC Isle of Man face an uphill task to try and end their ever-increasing winless run in the NWCFL Premier Division this weekend.
Without a league victory now in nearly two months, 'The Ravens' welcome fellow mid-table outfit Charnock Richard to The Bowl on Saturday evening (5 April).
Following that comprehensive 4-0 loss at the hands of title contenders Lower Breck six days ago, FC Isle of Man Manager Paul Jones remains adamant over the quality of his side to turn things around in the final three games of the season.
But, he says they'll need to up their game in several areas if they're to get out of this current rut:
Along with not claiming maximum points for eight straight outings, FC Isle of Man have also not led at any point in their last six contests.
Of those six, they've drawn three and lost the other three.
Sitting 12th in the standings on 61 points, a long-awaited win for the Islanders could take them up as many as four places depending on results elsewhere.
The last time they met their latest opponents in the reverse fixture was back on 24 August, 2024 where Charnock Richard emerged 2-1 winners.
As FC Isle of Man seek to get out of a rut, Ryan Donnellan's Charnock Richard seem to be hitting their stride at the tail end of the campaign.
The Lancashire-based side are on a run of three consecutive wins in all competitions.
What's more, they've won three of their five meetings with FC Isle of Man to date, scoring five times in two of those.
FC Isle of Man vs Charnock Richard will take place at The Bowl in Douglas on Saturday, 5 April, kicking-off at 6pm.
Manx Radio will be providing full live match commentary on our DAB and AM1368 channels.
