FC IoM comeback secures 3-3 draw with Pilkington

Ravens overturned a two-goal half-time deficit

FC Isle of Man fought back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 3-3 draw away at Pilkington in the NWCFL Premier Division.

In a match delayed by the impact of Storm Bert, it was the Ravens who made the brighter start as Dean Pinnington set up Luke Booth to open the scoring in the second minute.

The hosts responded well, equalising in the 10th minute before finding the back of the net two more times before half time.

The Manx side were back in the match shortly after the restart as Charlie Higgins hit the target from a corner, before Adam Adebiyi crossed the ball in for Ste Whitley to score the equaliser.

Both teams pressed for a winner in the closing stages, but the Ravens couldn't test the keeper again, while an Adam Killey save prevented Pilkington taking all three points.

The result leaves FC Isle of Man fifth in the table. Their next match is away at AFC Liverpool next Saturday.
