Sherry says it was nice to repay fans with a win over Charnock Richard
FC Isle of Man defender Callum Sherry says it was nice to be able to repay the club's loyal supporters by ending a five-match losing streak.
A hat-trick from Charlie Higgins gave the Ravens a 3-2 win over Charnock Richard at The Bowl on Saturday.
It's the team's second win of the season, and lifts them off the bottom of the NWCFL Premier Division table ahead of tomorrow's (16 September) trip to AFC Liverpool.
Sherry hopes the side can continue to give their fans a reason to cheer:
Meanwhile, Raven Adam Kerruish says he'll be 'back soon enough' after suffering a double leg fracture during the game.
In a statement on social media, the team said: "Everyone at FC IOM would like to wish Adam a speedy recovery after suffering a double leg fracture during last night's game.
"Get well soon Adam!"
