Manx clubs support plans for team to enter English non-league structure
Reaching a professional league in 10-12 years - that's the aim of FC Isle of Man following a significant vote by Manx clubs.
Local teams have given the proposals their support, meaning plans to become affiliated with the Isle of Man Football Association can move to the next stage.
FC Isle of Man would enter the North West Counties League, which has seen champions such at Fleetwood Town, FC United of Manchester and AFC Fylde in the last 15 years.
