Midweek meeting with Glossop North End awaits
After victory in their opening game of the season last weekend, FC Isle of Man head on the road for their first away test of the 2026/27 NWCFL Premier Division campaign this evening.
'The Ravens' - off the back of a win over FC St Helens at The Bowl last Saturday - are on their travels at Glossop North End later.
FC Isle of Man Manager, Lee Dixon is hoping his players' can match their energy levels from last time out to get a result tonight.
Whilst he admits that will be a challenge given the quick turnaround and some necessary changes, he believes this could be an opportunity for other players to showcase their abilities:
Tonight's meeting at The Asgard Engineering Stadium is due to get underway at 7.45pm.
Like FC Isle of Man, Lee Wilshaw's Glossop North End also got off to a good start last weekend as they ran out 2-0 winners at home against Euxton Villa.
There were ten goals across the two games between Glossop North End and FC Isle of Man in the previous campaign.
'The Hillmen' claimed a 3-2 success against the Islanders at The Bowl in August last year whilst in the reverse fixture it was FC Isle of Man who came out on top in Derbyshire by the same scoreline.
More generally, in the six meetings between the clubs to date, FC Isle of Man have four wins to Glossop North End's two.

A late change sees Leo Tregurtha come in for Jacob Cook who is joined by Jimmy Lowther and Tomas Brown in being unavailable for tonight's trip.
