Ravens' latest opponents on six-match winning streak
After returning to winning ways in the cup last time out, FC Isle of Man return to league action on the road this weekend.
In what looks to be a difficult test on paper, 'The Ravens' will travel to face a Barnoldswick Town side which currently sits in the top-five thanks to a recent run of strong results.
By contrast, it's been frustrating in league terms for the Manx side recently with back-to-back home losses in the NWCFL Premier Division in which they've failed to score.
Speaking to Manx Radio today, FC Isle of Man Manager, Lee Dixon was asked if last weekend's comeback victory over Maghull in the Macron Cup has provided the confidence boost they need:
FC Isle of Man will start the weekend four points adrift of the play-off places with 18 points from their 12 league contests so far.
As of now, the Islanders have struggled against the top-five sides they've faced so far - they've taken just one point from four matches against those currently occupying that region of the table.
Elsewhere, after a tough start to the campaign that saw them go seven games without a win in all competitions, Barnoldswick Town have seen a resurgence in recent weeks.
As of now, Gerry Harrison & Lewis Craig's side are on a run of six consecutive wins in all competitions and have tasted defeat only once since the start of September.
Barnoldswick Town vs FC Isle of Man will get underway at the Silentnight Stadium tomorrow at 3pm.

Lee Dixon has a slightly reduced squad of 15 players available to make the trip to the Silentnight Stadium this weekend.
Having both left the field with separate injuries in the cup win over Maghull last time out, Alex Maitland and Jacob Crook are absent with Preston Cleator, James Lowther and Ste Whitley also unavailable
However, the Manx side will be boosted by the return of Joe Quayle whilst Brandon Krypner could make his competitive debut for the club.
Charlie Gibson and Dylan Bullock also rejoin the ranks for the weekend
