Ravens put in positive pre-season display against National League outfit
FC Isle of Man put in a positive display in their first pre-season outing as they were narrowly beaten 2-0 by National League North outfit Brackley Town at the weekend (15 July).
The Ravens held their own against their opponents - who sit three leagues above them - until the 85th minute when Brackley Town's Dan Turner converted the opening goal of the contest.
Just over a minute later the visitors then made sure of the win when Danny Newton grabbed his first goal for Brackley Town converting a diving header from a cross from the right flank.
The Manx side are back in pre-season action again this coming Friday (21 July) when they host another National League North side, Southport at The Bowl.
That match will get underway at the slightly later time of 7.30pm.
