Visitors could be relegated if Ravens end losing streak

With hopes of halting a recent losing run, FC Isle of Man return to The Bowl this weekend for their penultimate home game of the 2025/26 NWCFL Premier Division season.

'The Ravens' - on a streak of three straight defeats - will host a City of Liverpool side on the brink of relegation this Saturday (28 March).

The Manx side will mathematically secure their place in the league for another campaign if they avoid defeat.

Meanwhile, their opponents could officially go down if they come away from their visit empty-handed and other results don't go their way.

FC Isle of Man's current run which has seen them take just one point from a possible 12 in their last four matches is their most barren run is their joint-longest winless run since November last year.

However, Rick Holden's side may be boosted by the knowledge of defeating their latest opponents in the reverse fixture between the sides back in October 2025.

That FC Isle of Man victory went on to become the start of a torrid run for City of Liverpool which has seen them not register a win since since 20 October last year,

Furthermore, the Merseyside outfit now sit rock bottom of the NWCFL Premier Division having accrued just two points from their last 27 games.

They'll be officially relegated tomorrow if they lose to FC Isle of Man and Pilkington manage to win at home against Ramsbottom United.

FC Isle of Man vs City of Liverpool takes place at The Bowl in Douglas this Saturday (28 March), with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.

Manx Radio will be providing full live match commentary on our DAB and AM1368 channels.
