Ravens looking to bounce back from first defeat in six last weekend

Looking to bounce back from a first defeat in six, FC Isle of Man face one of the NWCFL Premier Division's current title contenders this weekend.

Aiming to climb further clear of the relegation zone, 'The Ravens' will host West Didsbury & Chorlton tomorrow night (15 November) with the visitors heading into Saturday just two points off the top of the table.

Both sides are no strangers to each other, having faced off in every campaign since the Manx side's inaugural season in 2021/22 when both went on to get promoted from NWCFL Division One South.

Depending on results elsewhere, a win for the Island hosts could send them eight points clear of the drop zone whilst West Didsbury & Chorlton could realistically end Saturday night at the summit of the standings.

The two teams have met eight times so far with the visitors having the upper hand on head-to-head records having won five of those meetings to date with FC Isle of Man.

At The Bowl, 'The Ravens' have lost one of their four meetings with the Manchester-based outfit, that being the most recent encounter on Manx shores in the final match of last season in April this year.

There, goals from Victor Abadaki and Jordan Lazenbury secured all three points for Paul Marshall's side in a 2-0 win.

FC Isle of Man vs West Didsbury & Chorlton takes place at The Bowl in Douglas this Saturday (15 November), with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.

Manx Radio will be providing full live match commentary on our DAB and AM1368 channels.
