FC Isle of Man to welcome league leaders Burscough

Both sides have made strong starts to NWCFL Premier Division season

After an emphatic win in midweek, FC Isle of Man will be hoping to build up some more momentum in the NWCFL Premier Division this weekend

'The Ravens' are back at The Bowl with a tough test on their hands when they welcome the early league leaders, Burscough tomorrow evening (5 September).

This has been a fixture that has provided entertainment over the past few years - 41 goals have been scored in the eight meetings between the clubs so far.

However, FC Isle of Man Manager, Lee Dixon - who won't be in the dugout again tonight due to suspension - is not expecting a free-scoring fixture right now:

Whilst both FC Isle of Man and Burscough have notched up four wins over the other, the latter has taken victory in all three of the most recent meetings between the two.

That included a season double by Burscough over the Manx side last season - 'The Linnets' hammered FC Isle of Man 5-0 at The Community Ground in September 2025 before claiming a narrow 1-0 victory at The Bowl in January this year.

FC Isle of Man vs Burscough kicks-off tonight at The Bowl in Douglas at 6pm.
