The James Coulson Fell Race, the final round in this year's Rentokil Fell League, takes place on Saturday.
The 8.5mile course starts and finishes at Glen Roy Farm and includes 2200ft of ascent.
Registration opens at 1pm, start time is 2pm for the main race with an earlier start at 1.30pm for any runner expecting to take over 1hr 50mins.
As the race is held under FRA rules full safety gear must be carried and there will be a kit inspection before the start to check.
Minimum age is 18 years on day of race.
All competitors should note that a large portion of the route is on private land and therefore not open to recce.
These sections will be flagged for race day.
