Carraghan 4km 'lung buster' up first
The Callin Wild Manx Fell League restarts a week today (24 June) after the long break enforced by coronavirus restrictions.
First up, it's the Carraghan fell race, which is described as a 4km 'lung-buster' to the summit of the hill.
The start and finish will be near the main gate into Injebreck Plantation at the northern end of West Baldwin Reservoir.
Registration is from 6pm at the Colden car park, opposite the reservoir, with a start time of 7pm for the race.
If the weather on the day is decent, organisers say safety gear (a waterproof jacket and whistle) will not be compulsory, although they're still recommended for juniors and newcomers: if the weather is bad these items will be compulsory for all.
Parking is at a premium, so you're advised to car share where possible.
