
Cal Crutchlow finished fifth in the Catalunya Grand Prix in Barcelona yesterday.
The Ramsey resident had qualified in third place but was bumped down to fourth by the first corner and, after a race-long battle with defending world champion Casey Stoner, had to settle for fifth spot.
Jorge Lorenzo extended his lead at the top of the MotoGP standings after edging out Dani Pedrosa to win the race.
Crutchlow remains fifth in the overall standings.
