Fundraising race in April
There's a reminder entries for the 2019 Firefighters' Memorial Walk have opened.
Organisers describe it as an open 50km road race that offers good training for the Parish Walk in June.
The race follows the Parish Walk route from Peel to Ramsey, passing through Kirk Michael, Ballaugh, Jurby, Andreas, Sulby and finishing at Ramsey Fire Station.
For this year there will be one race only and a cut-off time of five hours at Bride village roundabout.
All proceeds from the event go to the Firefighters' Charity, which provides various types of assistance to serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.
You have until midnight on Sunday, 31 March to enter - there's a fee of £27 to do so.
The race itself takes place on Sunday, 14 April.
