First time victory for Tom in ultra
Tom Cringle won the Manx Mountain Marathon ultra for the first time on Saturday.
Last year’s runner-up in the main marathon secured victory in the ultra fell race from Ramsey to Port Erin in a time of five hours, 18 minutes, 24 seconds.
Stuart Walker was the runner-up in 5.24 and Ben Corkill third in 5.26.29.
Rosy Craine the leading woman in 6.47.51.
Lloyd Taggart won the mountain race for the second year in a row – a time of 1.51.28 from Chris Reynolds (2.09.20) and third placed Jackie Taggart (2.09.42).
