Manxman extends stay after joining earlier in 2024
Manx professional footballer Adam Long will remain with National League outfit AFC Fylde for next season.
The former St George's player has penned a new deal with 'The Coasters' to keep him at Mill Farm until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Long first joined the club in February this year on an initial short-term agreement until the end of this season after leaving League Two side Doncaster Rovers - who he'd been with since July 2022 - by mutual consent.
Speaking to AFC Fylde's official media, Long says he's 'over the moon' to have committed to extending his stay at the club and is 'really looking forward to get going next season.'
Meanwhile their manager Chris Beech says Adam 'has been excellent since coming in' and 'we are delighted that he has decided to stay.'
