Football: Braddan and Corinthians into Cowell Cup final

Elsewhere, Division 2 promotion race could be decided tonight (19 May)

Braddan and Corinthians will meet in this year's Cowell Cup final after respective victories in the last-four phase of the competition last night (18 May).

During Monday evenings meetings, Braddan were 5-3 winners at home to Laxey whilst Corinthians were narrow 1-0 victors away at Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.).

As a result, the remaining two sides in the Under-21 competition will meet in the 2026 final this Thursday (21 May) at The Bowl in Douglas at 6.45pm.

Meanwhile, more midweek Isle of Man football fixtures await tonight (19 May), during which the long-running Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 promotion race could be decided.

A trio of fixtures in that league are scheduled for Tuesday evening - Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.) will be promoted to the Canada Life Men's Premier League next season if Marown fail to win at Castletown later.
