Swans produce comeback win to secure top flight place (Results - 16 May)
Braddan have been promoted to the Canada Life Men's Premier League after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ramsey Youth Centre Old Boys (Rycob.) at the Ballacloan Stadium last night (16 May).
After dominating the first half and hitting the woodwork twice, Braddan were stunned when Martyn Murphy's header from a free-kick put Rycob. in front on the stroke of half-time.
However, Mark O'Neil's driven strike from 20 yards and a penalty from Callum Holden in the opening five minutes of the second period saw the 'Swans' grab the three points they needed to leapfrog Michael United into second place in DPS Ltd. Division 2 to join league champions St Mary's in the top flight next season.
