Two more cup finals to come this weekend
Braddan have been crowned winners of the 2026 Cowell Cup after a 2-1 extra-time victory over Corinthians in the final of the Under-21 competition last night (21 May).
During Thursday evening's contest at The Bowl in Douglas, both sides found themselves level after 90 minutes at 1-1 with Charley Knight of Braddan and Connor Clark of Corinthians netting in normal time.
Into extra-time and Braddan grabbed a decisive second through Joe Jones to secure the silverware.
Elsewhere for the winners, Braddan's Declan McKay scooped the Man of the Match award.
The Isle of Man football action continues this weekend with the finals of both the Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup and Canada Life Women's FA Cup part of the schedule.
The Hospital Cup showdown tomorrow (23 May) will see Corinthians take on Onchan at The Bowl in Douglas.
A day later on Sunday, 24 May Corinthians will face off against Douglas Royal for the Women's FA Cup honours - the venue for this clash is still to be confirmed.
Further ahead, a decision is still yet to be made on the status of this year's Paul Henry Gold Cup competition for the top four Division 2 teams after they league campaigns are concluded.
