Nigel McFarlane is now receiving treatment at Walton Hosptial
Castletown Football Club has thanked the ambulance service after its club director was taken ill during this weekend's combination match.
Nigel McFarlane took ill pitchside, and after receiving medical attention at the ground was taken to Noble's.
The club has confirmed in a statement on Facebook that Mr McFarlane was subsequently found to have a bleed on the brain, and has been transferred to Walton Hospital for further treatment.
Castletown says its thoughts are with Nigel and his family at this time.
