Prem leaders beat ten-man St Mary's in extra time
Corinthians have claimed their second trophy of the season by winning the 2026 Ecap FA Cup at The Bowl in Douglas today (4 April).
The current Canada Life Men's Premier League leaders secured the silverware with a 4-2 win in extra-time against ten-man St Mary's.
St Mary's had taken the lead through Tommy Callow before strikes from Stewart Smith and Sean Doyle put Corinthians ahead.
After that, Joe Bergquist grabbed a leveler for St Mary's to send the game beyond the regulation 90 minutes.
In extra time, Doyle struck again before John Myers was sent off for St Mary's for a second bookable offence.
Corinthians then made sure of victory as Connor Clark found the target shortly after Doyle to give the Ballafletcher-based side their fourth.
Success in this competition sees Corinthians claim their second trophy of the campaign so far having also lifted the Manx Car Store Railway Cup back on Boxing Day (26 December, 2025).
