Manx side hosts Ynys Mon and AFC Blackpool at The Bowl
The Isle of Man men's national football side have claimed two victories during an inaugural tournament on Island this weekend.
Hosting a three-team series at The Bowl in Douglas across Friday and Saturday (10-11 July), the Manx side won on penalties against AFC Blackpool after a 2-2 draw in regular time yesterday morning.
The Island hosts followed that up with a 4-0 success over Ynys Mon on Saturday evening.
Elsewhere, the other match in the competition which took place on Friday night (10 July) saw Ynys Mon secure a narrow 2-1 success over AFC Blackpool.
More generally, the tournament was part of the long-term 'road to gold' campaign for the Isle of Man men's national team which is running until the 2029 International Island Games on the Isle of Man.
