Pete Corkhill says he's really excited' about taking up the role
The Isle of Man FA has secured a new appointment as part of aims to support and grow opportunities in football for those with disabilities.
Pete Corkhill joins the organisation as the new Disability Football Ambassador.
Mr Corkhill - who's been coaching the Special Olympics IoM football squad over the last three years - will have a remit of growing a new recreational football session for both boys and girls.
On taking up the post he says he's 'really excited' about the opportunity of taking on the role, adding he's 'keen to explore' how the FA can develop pathways for children with disabilities to start playing football earlier.
