
Marown relegated from premier league as St George's survive
Foxdale have put themselves in pole position in the DPS Ltd. Division 2 title race following a 3-0 win over fellow challenger Onchan last night (7 May).
The victory sees 'Dale' move into top spot in Division 2 on 54 points, one ahead of Onchan and having played one game less.
Both sides are already guaranteed of promotion to the Canada Life Men's Premier League next season.
Elsewhere, Ayre United closed the gap on Peel at the top of the premier league to three points after a comprehensive 4-0 victory away at Ramsey.
Ayre have two games in hand on Peel who have already finished their league commitments for this campaign.
Meanwhile, Marown have been relegated from the top flight after they spurned a two-goal lead to slip to a 4-2 defeat away at St Mary's.
Along with that, St George's dramatically defied the drop on Tuesday evening with a crucial 2-0 win at St John's United to preserve their premier league status.
