Ideas already mooted for new four-division system
Further talks have been held in the last week about potential changes to the Manx football league structures from the 2024/25 season.
A further meeting took place on 29 August between clubs and the Isle of Man FA over ideas to abolish the combination leagues in favour of a four-division system.
Although the proposals are not yet official, the document has now been passed onto league management to investigate it further.
Isle of Man FA President, Tony Mepham, says as it stands all but two clubs are broadly in favour of the possible changes:
Football: Battles aplenty ahead of latest midweek showdowns
Conor Cummins to make Southern 100 comeback
Netball: Cup finals provide entertaining finale to 2026 season
Hockey: Bacchas claims trio of trophies on cup finals weekend
Rugby: Vagabonds Ladies defeat league champions on the road
