Nearly 40 scored during entertaining midweek meetings
A total of 36 goals were scored across seven matches during the latest Isle of Man midweek football fixtures last night (5 May).
Included in that were two thrillers in the Canada Life Men's Premier League including Braddan winning a ten-goal bonanza against St John's United and Onchan pulling through in a nine-goal feast at Foxdale.
Elsewhere, in Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.) hold onto a four-point advantage over their rivals in the race for the final promotion place in the division despite a home defeat to Marown.
The northern side remain second whilst Castletown in third and Pulrose United in fourth both lost ground as they played out an entertaining 3-3 draw between each other.
The midweek football action continues this evening (6 May) with six games across both combination leagues.
Included in those, Pulrose United could win the Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Combination Two title if they avoid defeat at home to Castletown.
