Team narrowly beaten by Poland in play-off contest
Manx footballer Sean Jackson and England have finished fourth at this year's European Amputee Football Championships in France.
In their final game of the tournament in Haute-Savoie, England concluded the campaign with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Poland in the 3rd/4th place play-off.
Following the result, the England Amputee Football Association said 'the lads gave it everything' and is thanking people for their support throughout.
Jackson and the team made a blistering start to the championships winning all three matches in Group B before a 3-0 victory over the hosts France in the quarter-finals.
Their route to potential cup glory was then halted by a slender 2-1 loss to Spain at the semi-finals stage.
