Garry Sansbury has led club's first team for last 25 years
Castletown MFC has confirmed Garry Sansbury is stepping down as the club's first team manager.
The announcement comes following the southern side's 2-1 defeat to Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys in the 2026 Paul Henry Gold Cup final on Saturday, 13 June.
In a statement, Mr Sanbsury says it is with 'pride, many thanks and a little bit of sadness' that he will be departing the club after 25 years in charge.
He's thanking 'all the committees, players both old and new and all the coaches' that have been part of the journey over the years.
As a result, Castletown is now inviting applications for the role of first team manager ahead of the club's AGM on Tuesday, 30 June.
Anyone interested in the role is asked to contact Patty Quinney on 454 007.
