Top two winless again
Marown have become the first team to be relegated in the Canada Life Premier League this season after a six-nil loss to fellow strugglers St Georges who themselves could also be relegated come the end of the season.
St Georges are one point behind Onchan and in the drop zone and, although they do have a game in hand over their rivals, the relegation battle could be concluded on 8 March when the sides face each other.
Elsewhere Peel's quest to wrap up the title early have halted after they were beaten by third place side St Mary's on Saturday (1 March).
The Douglas team moved to two points behind the leaders however Peel still have two games in hand on St Mary's.
Corinthians meanwhile will be rueing their missed opportunity to take three points.
They lost to Rushen United at the weekend and could have gone to one point behind Peel with a win although they have played one game more.
Further down the divisions Colby have been crowned the Ardan & Druggan Combination Two champions with a staggering 19-point lead.
