Westerners secure top spot on head-to-head record
Peel AFC have officially been crowned champions of 2023/24 Canada Life Women's League.
The western club were presented with the trophy on Sunday (14 April) having finished their league campaign with a record of nine wins and one defeat from their ten games.
They took top spot over previous title holders Corinthians on head-to-head record.
Last weekend also saw Peel progress to the final of this year's Women's FA Cup following a comprehensive 8-0 victory over Malew courtesy of a Becky Corkish hat-trick and goals from Eve McGowan, Jenny Metcalfe, Louise Gibbins, Megan Kelly and Phoebe Munro.
This year's Women's FA Cup final will see Peel face Onchan who progressed to the last two after being awarded an away walkover against Douglas Royal on Sunday.
