The team took eight medals in total on Friday
The Isle of Man Powerlifting team took four gold medals on day one of the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships 2024 in South Africa.
Island competitors Teagan Lindsay, Freya Weldon, Sam Harris and Kail De Los Reyes all took first place on Friday (4 October).
However, the medals did not stop there for the team as they also picked up three silvers from Harry Morgan, Lisa Grant and Kerry Lindsay, as well as a bronze medal for Lewis Runge.
Day two of the competition saw personal bests for all four sub junior athletes Morgan, Harris, Lindsay and Weldon.
Morgan, 15 was perhaps the pick of the lifters on the Saturday (5 October) as he made huge increases on his PB in the squat, deadlift and bench press.
The last of the Manx Powerlifting team arrived on Sunday and will be back in action today (7 October) after a day off yesterday.
