The German-born French ace has ridden for the factory Suzuki team since 2002 and has won the famous Le Mans 24-hour event twice, in 2007 and 2008.
Last year he took victory in the Bol d'Or 24-hour race.
He will continue the Suzuki connection on the Isle of Man as he represents the Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing team, with the larger than life Guy Martin as his teammate.
