The NatWest Island Games in the Isle of Wight were a great success!
That's the view of the chairman of the International Island Games Association Jorgen Pettersson, after the week-long event which involved a record of over 4,000 competitors and officials.
There is concern from a number of nations about the cost of travelling to, and staying at, the next gathering, in Bermuda in 2013.
Mr Pettersson says all member islands have a responsibility to support the hosts by raising funds to send as big a team as possible:
Hockey: Mixed results for IoM at county championships
TT 2026: Manx duo to lead Flitwick Motorcycles Sportbike charge
Rugby: Douglas beat Wilmslow to claim Cheshire Vase
Football: Eight progress to Cowell Cup quarter-finals
Davey Todd ruled out of TT 2026
