President of Castletown Golf Club Jack Yardley believes its new owner has what it takes to restore the links to its former glory.
At the club's recent annual general meerting in the hotel adjoining the course, Phillip Vermeulen told members he wanted to develop the club, so it was once again one of the top 50 in the British Isles.
Mr Yardley says Mr Vermeulen wants to invest in the club in a major way:
