Tom Gandy has won the England Golf Lagonda Trophy to record what must be the best ever achievement by a Manx-born golfer.
The Rowany player was in a rich vein of form during the 72 hole contest at the Gog Magog club in Cambridge, recording scores of 63, 68, 69 and 67 - equalling the course record in the process.
Past winners of the event include Lee Westwood and Luke Donald and the success is likely to put Gandy in for consideration by England Golf for inclusion in forthcoming England teams.
