Gandy makes European Tour debut

Rowany player in South Africa

Isle of Man golf professional Tom Gandy makes his full European Tour debut this morning.

The Rowany player is competing in the South African Open in Johannesburg with home favourite and world number 20 Louis Oosthuizen defending his title.

Gandy tees-off at 10.30am local time and has South African James Du Preez and Craig Howie from Scotland for company.

There are qualifying places at this year's Open Championship at Royal St George's on offer to the leading 3 players in the top 10 who are not already exempt.
