Rowany player into last 32
Rowany player Tom Gandy is through to the last 32 at the English Men's Amateur Golf Championship at Alwoodley near Leeds.
He made it through to the last 64 in qualifying from a field of 284 competitors playing the harder of the two courses being used with a 1 over round of 72.
Tom then beat Daniel Sutton from Walsall by one hole in the matchplay stages.
He plays James Willis from Penn Golf Club this morning hoping to make further progress.
