16 year old Tom Gandy produced the performance of the evening to beat eight-time Champion Julian Sutton at the Grant Thornton Isle of Golf Championship at Rowany.
The yougster held his nerve to record a 3 & 2 win in wet and windy conditions.
Elsewhere, one of the three best qualifiers Andrew Challenor lost 5 & 4 to Steven Skillicorn.
