He's become the oldest finisher in the history of the event
Organisers of the Parish Walk have confirmed a new record has been set during this year's event.
During the 2024 race held from 22-23 June, Geoff Hain became the oldest competitor to finish the gruelling challenge within 24 hours.
Mr Hain was 77 years and 10 months old on race day and crossed the line in 125th place in a time of 23 hours, 41 minutes and one second.
Officials are describing Mr Hain's efforts as 'a truly remarkable achievement' and 'a fantastic accomplishment.'
The Parish walk sees hundreds of people take on all or part of an 85-mile walking course around the Isle of Man which must be completed within 24 hours.
