Manx football’s end of season showpiece will be contested by holders St George’s and Union Mills.
The Millers caused a surprise last night (Sunday) when they defeated Old Boys on penalties in the semi-final of the BCS Vinyl Hospital Cup.
The match at Blackberry Lane had finished 2-2 after extra-time.
Stephen Halsall and Richard Cannell had twice fired Union Mills ahead only for Old Boys – who played much of extra-time with 10 men – to hit back through David Quirk and Darren Hudgeon.
However, the Millers held their nerve in the shoot-out to book a date at the Bowl on May 19.
There they will play league champions St George’s who saw off St Mary’s 3-1 to gain revenge for their FA Cup final defeat earlier this month.
Frank Jones, Chris Bass and Ciaran McNulty got the goals with Liam Doyle replying for the Saints.
