St George’s have won the treble!
They sealed another dominant season in Manx football by thrashing Union Mills to clinch the BCS Hospital Cup.
A hat-trick from Ciaran McNulty, two from Chris Bass junior and one each from James McStay, skipper Sean Quaye, Johnny Myers and substitute Reece Thompson sealed a 9-0 rout in the final’s biggest winning margin since 1956.
It added the silverware to the Premier League crown and Railway Cup already won.
If St Mary’s had not defeated them in the FA Cup Final, St George’s would have become the first ever Manx club to win back-to-back grand slams.
