Keith Gerrard from Peel has run the fastest ever 5000 metres by a Manx athlete.
Running at the University of Washington Husky Classic meeting in Seattle, he clipped two seconds off his existing Isle of Man record with a time of 14 minutes, 9.31 seconds.
It was his first competitive run of the year.....but Keith will have to wait to see if it counts as an official Manx landmark as it was set on an indoor track.
