Gianni Epifani was the winner of the opening round of the Up and Running Winter Walking League yesterday (Sunday).
He completed the senior 10 kilometre race in a time of 48 minutes and 49 seconds, nearly a minute clear of Adam Cowin (49.43).
Sam Fletcher was third (57.29) with Marie Jackson the leading woman in sixth place overall.
Hannah Hunter took the senior 5km race honours from Dave Mackay and Allice Bellando.
Abbie Edwards took top spot in the junior 3km race and Alex Nicoll won the junior 2km event.
