Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings finished an impressive sixth at the prestigious Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado at the weekend.
The 22 year old from Ronague made an excellent start in the final but had her legs taken from under her by another competitor while negotiating the first banked turn, effectively ending any chance of taking victory.
Olympic silver medalist and current World number one Lindsey Jacobellis went on to claim the title.
Afterwards Gillings said "even though this is my best result of the season, I should have done better. I can't wait to go Leysin on Wednesday for the next round of the World Cup."
