
It was another unremarkable day for Mark Cavendish as the Giro d'Italia pushed on through the mountains.
He was 155th as the event reached stage six, which took the field to the village of Mayrhofen in Austria's Western Tyrol region.
Two of Cav's team mates, Swede Tomas Lovkvist and Australian Michael Rogers, are still going well in the general classification, lying second and third respectively behind the pink jersey, Danilo Di Luca.
